Make a video for introducing your blog

Now that you have already created your blog and decided your topic, it is time to introduce yourself so that people visiting it can meet you and know what your blog is about.

Here you have an example:

 

Let's create your own!

1. Make an outline with the following information:

• Personal data: your name, age, city...
• Hobbies and interests: What are they? When do you do them? ...
• Content of your blog: Which is the topic? (sports, music, fashion...) Why did you choose this topic?
• Convince your audience to follow and participate in your blog.

2. Go to the following link and check the pronunciation of the words you have written: http://www.acapela-group.com/text-to-speech-interactive-demo.html. Use the information in point 1.

3. Download Windows Movie Maker (or a similar program that you already know) in the following link: http://windows-movie-maker.softonic.com/

4. Imagine you are talking to a new friend through the webcam. Introduce yourself using the information in the outline.

You can either record yourself directly with the webcam in Windows Movie Maker or you can make a video with your camera and upload it to Windows Movie Maker. Another option you can do is to make the video using pictures you upload from your computer.

5. Do you have your video ready? Upload it to your blog following what you learnt in Step 2.

Remember: try to be original and innovative as much as you can! Your partners will follow you if your blog is attractive!
