Choose the topic and post!





Congratulations. You now have a blog!!

The next step is to decide what topic your blog will be about. There are many different types of blogs, for example: about cooking, sports, fashion, languages, literature and personal life, among others. Do you know that many teachers already use them as a complementary tool for their lessons? They have chosen to do it because of its main advantages. In a blog, you can write and share information with other people while you improve your knowledge on the ICTs and learn connected with others. 

In general terms, we can find the following classification of the kinds of blogs: personal blogs where individuals write an ongoing diary and is a way to reflect  on life rather than a way to just communicate. Corporate blogs which are used to improve the communication and the business purposes. Moreover, there are a lot of types of blogs depending on their genre, such as political blogs, health blogs, travel blogs, fashion blogs, education blogs, music blogs, art blogs... All of them differ not only in the type of content, but also in the way that content is delivered or written. Depending on the type, you will design a different format. It is your turn to think of the topic of your blog!

Now, let’s create your first post by clicking on “Start blogging” . The first thing you need to do is to put a tittle to your first post and then, to write some text. You can use the blogger editor to change the appearance of your content. To add photos, click on the image icon in the tool bar. From there, you can upload photographs or link to photos in Picassa or on the Internet. 
Let’s look at uploading files. Click “Choose files” and select the images from your computer. Once the files have been uploaded, click “Add selected”. Your pictures will appear inside your blog post and you can easily add caption to them as well as change their size. Once your post is created, you can choose “Preview” and see how it would look like. Then, you can save it for later by pushing the bottom “Save” it or publish it by clicking on “Publish”.
